The Fanfare van de Eerste Liefdesnacht ('The First Night of Love Brass Band') is a colourful street band from Amsterdam, featuring more than twenty brass instruments plus percussion. For over twenty years we've been spreading our musical mayhem everywhere we go.
We're a popular feature of theatre events, festivals and parties from Brittany to Romania and from the UK to Spain.

The Fanfare is flexible, and we can adapt ourselves to all kinds of surroundings. We always play acoustic, so there's no messing about with amplifiers or soundchecks.

On the march, among the dancing audience, on stage: we can show off our varied and exciting repertoire just about anywhere. From a barge to a concert hall, from the street to the studio, in a windmill. . . in a swimming pool. . . the Fanfare plays where you want, and from the moment we arrive the party's started!
